Zaeden's Rainbow Lori Hoflen

Lori Hoflen?s two year old son, Zaeden, died in March, 2007. One of their family?s favorite memories of Zaeden is him constantly pointing out bright colors everywhere around them. In the biblical story of Noah and the Ark, the Rainbow is a symbol of beauty, peace, and a new beginning after Noah and his family experience a horrific flood and devastation of life as they knew it. Lori?s family, too, has experienced a terrible storm. They know that Zaeden wouldn?t want them focusing on the dark walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Zaeden taught them to focus on the brilliance of life, the beautiful rainbow colors of the world, and sharing precious time with loved ones.
