In retrospect surviving a trauma may be the easy part. Recovering from it is an entirely different story. Mary Herman College is located on an idyllic campus where students are outgoing and successful. That is until one the most popular students is a victim of a horrendous crime. Up to the day that everything changed Emily Verada was a junior at Mary Herman. She was a good student and a runner on the varsity cross country team. She was a student leader and a friend to many. The crime and its aftermath forever changed the lives of those involved and their loved ones. Some on the campus don't wont the story told. They want to move on. Others think that there may be something to be learned from reliving those days. For Emily it was the first time she faced challenges that she was certain she would not overcome. Three Blue Candles is Emily's story.
