Contributor Bio:  Holmes, Brian Brian Holmes is a Paris-based art critic, activist and translator. He is the author of "Hieroglyphs of the Future", a former member of the graphic arts group Ne pas plier, works with the French conceptual art group Bureau daEtudes, and is an editor of the interdisciplinary journal "Multitudes". He has lectured widely in Europe and the Americas.
