This book is quite simple. You have a criminal record, and you're wondering if you can get rid of that record. Many clients hire me, and pay me a lot of money to work on their expungement case with fantastic results. That's just one approach; the law doesn't require a client to have a lawyer for their expungement filing, but it's a complicated process, and that makes people very nervous. The purpose of this book is not to be a substitute for hiring an attorney, but rather an educational tool to better inform the general public about the process, and a number of thoughts on how to best approach this legal problem. Each reader will decide if they wish to try the process on their own, or to hire an attorney. The more information available in making that decision, the better informed that decision will ultimately be for the reader. This book is not meant to be legal advice, it's a mere education tool to help the public better understand the process.
