Jasper and the Elemenopy Laurelle Lewis

When Jasper's Dad decides to read him the alphabet one stormy night, Jasper's imagination runs a little wild. He hates the alphabet, because he is scared of the Elemenopy (L, M, N, O, P) Monster that lives in the middle of the book. With his Dad's support, can Jasper make it all the way through the alphabet, and learn his letters or will the Elemenopy (L, M, N, O, P) Monster be too scary? Wacky weasels in wigs, and astronauts in out of space fill this book with unique images to help children remember the alphabet. The alphabet is told alongside the story of Jasper becoming increasingly nervous as the Elemenopy (L, M, N, O, P) approaches!!

Told in rhyme, this is fun, imaginative tale about helping children overcome the things that cause them anxiety, whether they be real or imaginary.

The bright and colorful illustrations will have your children wanting to turn the page to see what pops out of the alphabet next!

Do you know your A, B, C's? Come along and sing with me-but watch out for that Elemenopy!!

This story was inspired by hearing my daughter struggle to sing the alphabet, once she hit that beloved middle part, 'L, M, N, O, P'!

This is Jasper's first adventure learning about the English language- and overcoming his anxiety at the same time!
