Put Another Plate on the Table Second Edition: I'm Coming Home Laura J Behan 第2 版

A story told of World War II like you?ve never heard it told before. In 1943, after a ?far-from-fairy-tale? childhood, a young man of 17 enlists in the United States Navy with great enthusiasm to join the ranks of the patriotic to defend the United States and its allies after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941. The letters he wrote back home chronicle his time in the U. S. Navy in a most unique way. When you read them and see the accompanying pictures, you get a sense of ?being there?. You can feel his emotions and see his transformation from being a ?green? high school graduate into a mature grown man in three short years.
