Somehow amid the confusion, archaeologist Art Wilder tries to solve the riddle of why the Anasazi abandoned the enigmatic Pueblo Bonito at the height of their civilization and find out if they really were cannibals. This is an intriguing well-written novel that once again proves why Art Wiederhold is the master storyteller of this generation.
