Wretched Hearts is the story of Katherine, Morgan, and their lifelong friendship, which turns from a loving bond, into one of hatred, anger, and resentment for Katherine, and drives Morgan into darkness, torment, and guilt. Katherine, and Morgan are in love with each other, but a tragic turn of events prevents them from admitting it to each other. The two girls are seperated, and their friendship is plunged into darkness, almost lost forever. But even amid tragedy, and the cold distance between them, the love that lies buried within their wretched hearts still calls out to join them once more. With difficulty, Katherine, and Morgan are finally able to face their demons, and forgive each other to live as lovers, and friends forever.
