The Story Hunter is Ash Ellroy, an insomniac investigator sent to parts unknown in search of acquiring strange and mysterious stories for mass-media reproduction. Suffering through an inexplicable break-up from his girlfriend, Debby Lynn, Ash gets clumsy and becomes embroiled in the story of June Madson, an artist/sculptor who may or may not be a serial killer. Drawn under the spell of the charismatic Madson, Ash must fight to regain control of the story before its too late.
