A Present For You is a children's book about a 7 year old girl named Charlotte. Charlotte had recently moved to a new neighborhood with her mom after the separation of her parents. She is feeling sad and wishes to still have a connection to her past. Everday to and from school she passes an antique shop that has a flower pendant that she likes. The pendant gives her a sense of familiarity to her old neighborhood. Her mom tries her best to make her happy. Charlotte gets a very nice surprise when the thing that makes her feel good is gone.
