Inspire Me Reba Ferrell Bailes

Inspire Me, began with a desire to find a very special poem for my youngest sister, Karen's, birthday. I started with Helen Steiner Rice's work but searched for hours to no avail. My husband, David, encouraged me to write one for her. I laughed at the very thought. I had never written a word of poetry nor had the desire to do so.

The next morning, I awoke early as usual. Almost immediately I started hearing words, not audibly, just in my mind. I got up and started writing as the words came quickly. Less than an hour later, I had 90% of my first poem, Expressions of His Endearing Love. All who read it, especially my sister Karen and those who know her, were very touched. So inspiration was turned on, thus this collection of poems.

I truly hope as you read these poems you will be uplifted and encouraged. Most importantly, though, my desire is that you will be inspired to know God, and know Him more deeply.
