Have you ever asked yourself, "Does life happen to me or does life happen through me?" Think about your day to day activities, your interactions with others, your likes and dislikes, your actions and reactions. Think about how you perceive your life's experiences. Think about your world and all that you know to be true. Is your world truly as it is? Or is your world simply as you see it? Is it possible that all you know to be true is only true for you? "Chew on This" is comprised of fifty-two short stories written to challenge the way you experience your world. As you "chew" on the message within each story, you are encouraged to ponder on each moral and how it relates to your world and your life experiences. It has been said, "The journey of one thousand miles begins with one step." Dare to begin the journey. Accept the challenge to step into the shoes of a different perspective. Step outside of your comfort zone and walk around outside of what you believe to be true. You might be surprised at what you find. As you reflect over the ideas presented in each story, allow yourself to keep a receptive mind and explore the questions that will surely develop. Remember, it is in the questions, not the answers, that true meaning is discovered. It is our hope that the words within these pages will form questions that spark personal revelations and inspirations to create growth and understanding. In doing so, you may see your world change.
