Unlike his peers in Metro Department O'Malley is not a product of the megalopolises of the modern world. Considered a throwback by his fellows he works the old city beat where the modern world meets its past avoiding most new technology solving crime the old fashioned way using wit, guile, and street smarts. Now something new has been added, highly technological and possibly illegal and O'Malley's life will never be the same.
