One Pilots life, through World War Two in Bomber Command in England, then to West Africa flying Sunderland Flying boats for Coastal Command. Then after the War, back to his home in the South Pacific (New Zealand) flying Solent flying boats for TEAL (the forerunner of Air New Zealand) throughout the Pacific, on the Tasman and what was known as the Coral Route (1950-60 Fiji, Samoa and Tahiti).
