Breakup Poetry was inspired (as the subtitle reads), by this author's personal journey of love, grief, hope, life experiences and philosophy. I have poured my heart out in these poems, exploring such human topics as unrequited love, loss, lust, longing, betrayal, depression, rejection, redemption, self-reflection, and painful life lessons. Breakups are rarely ever painless, or easy, and some can leave you reeling and feeling hopeless. Many of the poems in this book were written from a very raw, emotional place, and the content is, therefore, at times, unfiltered and unapologetic. With that said, it is my sincere hope that readers may connect, identify with, and perhaps even become inspired by my struggles and insights included in these pages.
