Collected and republished in the Review and Herald in 1913, these tales together act as a compendium of inspiration. Various stories have backdrops such as the 1903 San Francisco earthquake, the westward expansion of the USA, and the formation of churches in far-flung corners of North America. The final part of this volume comprises a collection of poetry.
