As You Like It

The play was written in 1599 or mid-1600. Shakespeare seldom concocted his plays. He put together his plays after getting inspired by stories written by different journalists. The story he utilized for As You Like It was Rosalynde, Euphues Golden Legacy (1590) by Thomas Lodge. As You Like It might have been first acted in 1603. However, this isn't for sure. The play was first distributed in 1623 in the First Folio, an assortment of Shakespeare's plays as a whole. As You Like It recounts the tale of a young lady named Rosalind. She has been exiled from her uncle's court. Her uncle cannot stand her since she is delicate, lovely, clever, and savvy. Rosalind chooses to live in the Forest of Arden with her cousin Celia and the court entertainer Touchstone. She dresses like a man for feeling safe. A few scenes include Rosalind and individuals who live in the woods. She is at last being with her darling Orlando.
