Security framework is that almost every application whether it is of web type or of non web type, it requires some kind of authentication system. The developers have to write the code for the same and handle the encryption settings. The framework will free them from the hassles of authentication system. Today's limited security framework are available to develop an application but most of them are not open source and not accessible. Security framework would save huge amount of time, money and effort. Generally this framework is designed to increases the productivity of software development by reducing the programmer burdens to give the authentication type security to an application.
