Over the past few years, there has been overwhelming trends of attaining formal management education, especially so in the developing countries. Consequently it gave rise to mushrooms of management institutes and universities all over the world. Despite this abundance of advance knowledge of management, the developing societies have not been able to manage their affairs proficiently in any field, may it be financial management, material means, human resource, agriculture, modern knowledge, organizational performance or misfortunes like poverty, natural disasters, accidents and fatal diseases etcetera. This book encompasses the highlights of disconnects between modern knowledge of management and its applications in the underdeveloped and developing societies. Till the time, people and knowledge are mutually connected for practices in real terms, management pursuits remain only theories, thus short of achieving the desired objectives.
