This devotional will help you see the book of Proverbs through a new covenant perspective so that you can embrace the truth about who you are in Christ and learn how to see every part of the Word of God through God's love for you. Hebrews 4:12 (NLT) says, "For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires." God's Word has a way of exposing what is deep inside of our hearts. It can divide what is of the spirit and what is of the soul, and when God reveals to you and me what we believe on a heart level, we have the choice to either surrender our faulty beliefs to Him for transformation or hold on to our human logic, rejecting the very life being offered to us through His Word. My prayer for you, as you go through this devotional, is that you begin to see how to read all of God's Word through the lens of the new covenant.
