Tami C. is a professional hairstylist and owner of IMENA Inc., a hair-and-beauty company based in Harlem, New York, and a graduate of the American Beauty School in the Bronx, New York. Tami started IMENA Inc. in 2008 so that clients could have a place to go to get their hair done that understands, appreciates, and embraces their diversity in hair textures, lengths, and styles. While owning a salon space, she realized quickly the need for educating stylists and clients on curly afro-textured hair.
