It has been eight years, and Taylor Kennedy still felt like every time someone looked at her they saw her inability to protect herself. However, she feels that she has done a good job convincing everyone around her that she has moved on from that day her life almost ended. Now she spends all of her time on her photography business that she has very proudly built. Adam Kageen and his sister Hailey were raised by their grandparents. Shortly after Adam's graduation their grandfather passed away leaving him to take over the family's horse ranch. Determined to keep the ranch one of the best in Tennessee, Adam has decided that getting involved in any kind of relationship is just a bad idea. Past experiences with women, just proved to him that they wanted more of his time than he was willing to give. Everything changed on the day Taylor arrived back at the ranch, she no longer looked like the teenager Adam remembered. Now she was a beautiful woman, with amazing green eyes, that looked lost. Adam's grandfather warned him, once you see the woman meant for you it's like lightning, it just strikes. Can Taylor learn to trust again, and realize that her scares, inside and out, only make her more beautiful?
