Incredibly, science (through quantum physics) now tells us that the nucleus itself, microscopic as it is, is made up of even smaller particles such as leptons, hadrons, and quarks. It seems the more powerful the tools we invent to see these tiny "particles," the more we discover even smaller ones. Moreover, while observing these tiny particles, quantum physicists discovered something truly amazing! It seems that whether the particle takes on the property of a particle or a wave is dependent upon the observer. In other words, we determine the outcome by witnessing it. Many even go so far as to say there is no "physical" reality at all; rather, what we observe is high concentrations of energy, moving at such incredibly fast vibrations that it takes on the appearance of form. In other words, we are living in a holographic universe void of any physical reality whatsoever! Now we are left to ponder, is our life experience more subjective than we have been led to believe? Science tells us that everything is made up of energy, including us. Furthermore, we have the ability to direct that energy through our conscious intentions. This is so because we are that energy. This is, of course, a very bold statement and I am sure I will be challenged to back it up. For now I will just say that nothing was ever learned or discovered by remaining closed off to ideas we have never heard or accepted before. It is, therefore, vital to remain open to new ideas in order to break down old mental constructs that get in the way of our ability to move toward personal growth and development.
