Based on true events and encounters of a generation who valued life, love and loyalty in a powerful way, we follow George Miller as he encounters the perils of World War II during the Battle of Hürtgen Forest. Son of a farmer from East Texas, George keeps his father's advice close at heart when dealing with his fellow man, as well as the enemy. With a keen sense of self awareness and an intuitive nature toward reading others, George is able to create bonding relationships easily. However, when face to face with the enemy, George comes to a crucial point in his life; does he fight, flee or become another victim to the rising death toll of war.
