Stephan is handed a raw deal when his wife has him institutionalized in a hospital with cruel and uncaring staff. He is held against his will in a ward that has been partaking in an unorthodox, nocturnal experiment that uses patients for its purpose. Stephan finds a light in the darkness of his situation in the form of another patient. She's the drive behind his plan to escape the nightmare before time runs out. Is fate on his side, or is something more sinister leading Stephan to his own demise? Will his decisions make him a hero or a villain in the end?
