The story of Julie Hargrave continues where it left off in this, the second of the series. The young girl sets out on a quest to find more information about the enemies planning to exterminate her new found fairy allies, and to find armor for their terrified queen. Her journey will launch her to corners of the world that she never though that she would see, and will find her uncovering truths that she would never could have fathomed. But Julie is also going to find that the enemy she was starting to get a handle on is much bigger than they seemed, and that the horror she thought she was prepared to face is much more dangerous than she could have imagined.
