For local attorney Joe Nolan, the day begins easily enough. in the doctor's office following routine eye surgery. They remove his bandages and tell him, "Don't Blink, everything will be fine."Joe Blinks. And when the eye doctor leans into his eyes to take a little "look-see" something pops, like the popping of a dimple on a Whiffle Ball. His doctor leaps into his lap and tries to gouge out his eyes with her bare hands. So begins a most amazing day for Joe Nolan. He is infected with a microbe virus that inspires the most pure rage in others, that they will stop at nothing to kill him. For Joe, the rule of the day is to survive, and to find out how to reverse this spreading trend, and stay alive long enough to undo what's already been done.
