John Anderson, and his small group of survivors, face new life-threatening challenges in their neighborhood. With the ash significantly reduced following a major thunderstorm, a semi-clear sky offers hope of rescue and a return to normalcy, but that hope is short lived, for the dangers around them are not longer hidden. As survivors begin to emerge from their homes, hungry and thirsty, they venture out in search of food and water only to find they're surrounded by chaos.
