About the Author: The author, Sam L. Sullivan, spent his youth in a small isolated timber town in Southeastern Oklahoma. The stories reflect the values held, not only by the Sullivan's of that area, but the values of the community members in those small towns as well. There is a reason for calling this book, "Hungry". Calling the book, "Hungry", has to do with food yes, but more so about the lessons learned that kept us hungry to achieve more in life.
