The Applied Academics Workbook to Accompany Automotive Technology for General Service Technicians supplements the text with activities that build mathematics, science and communications skills. Each of the 54 activity sheets (one per chapter) references the appropriate NATEF Narratives for Related Academic Skills and uses realistic automotive service examples. The Applied Academics Workbook can also be used to facilitate communication between academic teachers and Automotive Technology teachers. Automotive teachers can use the activities in the Workbook to show the application of the specific academic areas within the Auto Tech curriculum.
