Bill and his wife Linda argue bitterly, their tempers finally leading them into the desperation of divorce just as fast as their passions once carried them into sacred matrimony. The effects of the animosity and fighting on his loved ones tear Bill, a successful engineer, apart. Although he knows his marriage is about to end, he leaves his job to guide his family through the difficult and painful transition. As Bill and Linda wage battle, the divorce lawyers look on eagerly, the emotional and financial costs rapidly mounting.
