What if the Anti-Christ is more to be pitied than feared? That is the question raised by the central character in this transcendent novel. Ambitious in scope and sweeping in inclusion, "PrimoDeus" is a gripping, exploratory character drama with biblically high stakes. The text features many literary devices that give the writing an epic feel. Imagery is vivid and fully realized, allowing for vacillations in scenes and time jumps. Chapters are structured in a play-like format, with different acts and interludes breaking up particularly difficult moments of tension and exposition. This arrangement adds to the epic nature of the work and allows the text to grow and develop naturally. Buckle down for a wild ride. "PrimoDeus" explores the mental state of the Anti-Christ before the End of Days. Is Beaulyn deFaux the Anti-Christ, or isn't he? Is the Anti-Christ our own creation? Long-buried secrets in the lives of the major characters, depleted by their own anguish and self-serving denials, distort their present realities and thrust them in bizarre interactions that, eventually, allow the readers to gauge for themselves the truth surrounding the defrocked priest.
