It is also NOT YOUR TYPICAL COLORING! The gray/black shading is already present. You add your beautiful colors over-top those areas, resulting in a soft, gorgeous, muted look (think old photographs!)

Also worthy of note are these few caveats:
- the fact that these images are created from antique/vintage photographs and, as a result, DO have varying degrees of blurring and inconsistent shading.
-colored pencils or the more dry tools work far better than the more wet tools such as markers or paints. The paper just isn't thick enough and bleeding may occur.

If you're unsure how to color grayscale, google search 'how to color grayscale youtube'. You will come up with tutorials that you can utilize to assist you in your creation.
