We have certain deep needs of the soul that are God given, and we diligently search to meet these needs in order to find fulfillment and to be happy. These are the things that give us fulfillment and hope for the future. We are driven to find fulfillment and happiness in life, and we will do whatever we think will make us happy and fulfilled. The greatest pain is not finding fulfillment and happiness and believing that you will never have these things. You can even be living for God and still not find not find the fulfillment you are looking for. This is why many people do not care about living anymore and why some people even try to kill themselves.
